Based in Bologna and Rome, Fantomatica has been haunting Europe and beyond since 2022, exploring new technologies, and particularly AIs, in documentary and fiction, as fantomatic means to tell stories.

Vittorio Martone
Journalist with 15 years of experience. He wrote and produced the feature documentaries The first time, about the Bologna juvenile prison, and Porpora, about the groundbreaking trans-activist Porpora Marcasciano.
Luca Buonocore
Business leader with more then 10 years of strong customer-facing experience in strategy development and execution, business development, digital transformation, and start-up delivery. He holds a full-time MBA from SDA Bocconi Business School.
Francesco Frisari
A PhD in philosophy, he is pursuing an MA in Creative Fiction Writing at Columbia University. He is a writer, executive producer and director working in cinema, theatre and for Rai television, the leading Italian broadcaster. He wrote and directed the feature documentary Because I’m a Genius!, presented at the Venice Film Festival and winner of a Nastro d’Argento.
Marco Catani
Visual artist, digital media expert, consultant producer and creative director for the most relevant Italian entertainment and news shows of Rai television, the leading Italian broadcaster, where he deals with AI and its impact on misinformation.
